Synopsis

The moon has shattered and from the abyss reigns darkness eternal. The Shadowborne — shadowy aberrations given form — invade to ravage against life and feast on the moonlight inherent within humanity.

You play as Lucian Sov, a recently ordained messianic Moonwoken of the Covenant of Gloam who lost his home to the Shadowborne. With a clear goal, you decide where your journey across the shadow-touched lands takes you — with powerful companions, newfound powers, and eldritch mysteries waiting to be unraveled.

With your companions and a power hailing from the dark side of the moon — bordering on heresy — your choices shape the fate of life itself. Will you purge the Shadow of the Nightmare… or be consumed by it?

The World

A World of Eternal Night

The world exists in a constant state of night — not the typical night, but one filled with dark violets, deep indigos, and flashes of white that paint the sky alongside the strewn fragments of the shattered moon. A sky that conveys mysticism and the terrifying dawn of a new era.

The architecture is dominated by a French Gothic style, evoking a sense of ancientness — a world that has long existed before Lucian's time. Where humanity hasn't settled, great jagged peaks, forests, and valleys occupy the land.
